Just testing the waters to see if theres any interest in these bumpers. Built by me at my shop in NC ( Uwharrie Welding ) with all 3/16" and 1/4" steel plate/tubing and utilizes all 8 factory hitch bolt locations. These are built to be USED and ABUSED while keeping the rear corners of the van safe and keeping a great departure angle.

The rear quarters of my van are trimmed up about 5 inches but it isn't necessary for the bumper to fit.

The "base" version like in the pics would start at $400+shipping. A swing out tire carrier, shackles mounts, etc could be added for an additional cost.

I have my own bumpers already, and live on the other side of the country, but since you didn't list it and people are interested...

What are you considering for price?

Yep, Grehound ships freight reasonably. Any freight company ships cheaper terminal to terminal, also.

Only convenient if there's a terminal close on both ends, of course.

I'm headed up to Charlotte soon, maybe I'll head your way and check it out. I'd like to see the underside mounting as well.

Turn, he quoted $400 + shipping for the base bumper shown.
yep $400.
Come check it out anytime!
I'll get y'all some good pics tomorrow of how it bolts up.

I've heard of the greyhound shipping before but never looked into it. I'll have to check it out. definitely sounds like a good option.

Interested for sure, but in the longer term.

Instead of a swing out tire carrier, I'm thinking more about keeping the tire in the stock location, and putting a storage box on a swingout on the bumper.

Uwharrie, your work is amazing and I wish I lived closer... I would keep you very busy. My local mechanic started welding a year ago and he is getting better, but so far I'm staying away from any body mods.
I definitely would have gotten one of your bumpers if I wasn't already half way along on mine which has some similarities.
Looking forward to more of your mods... how about that front bumper?

A storage box on the swingout would be nice. Totally doable! Let me know when you are ready and we will make it happen.

Good looking bumper and might be a bit further down my next mod list. I want to know what you would charge to fab up and weld in a set of those rocker sliders!
$1000-$1500 depending on the condition of the van and if you wanted the storage box to.

Thanks! Glad you're liking what you see. I've got a lot of ideas brewing for the these vans, I'm just getting started. A front winch bumper will be happening in the next few weeks for sure and i plan to offer those for sell to.

UwharrieWelding,
I assume you reach the Pin at the tow hitch Receiver from under the bumper.
Do you have any slick design solution to mounting a tow wiring harness connector up there?
Or do you just use the traditional Astro dangle to connect your trailer electrical?
