New member asking for help to switch front end to passenger version. I have a 2005 Astro cargo that I want to switch to the passenger front end. I’m sure this question has been asked and solved on this site but I just joined today need help on how to do so. I believe I need the headlight brackets plates, grill, glass headlight housings and side plastic reflectors what I really need help with is how to wire Up the new headlights don’t believe the current cargo front end wire plug will fit on the passenger front end headlight wire plug? Please help. Thank you much appreciated. Jim

I will be of no technical/mechanical help on this endeavor.

BUT, I think I can give you some advice which (I feel) you should take to heart.

Best bet is to go to a junkyard and get all the parts, including the wiring. Make sure you write down where the wires went and color codes to make it easier.

I did this swap this summer on my 05 cargo. It was a very easy driveway project. and that's coming from someone who has no mechanic or electrical experience. Everything just bolts right in and you can splice the wires for the passenger style lights to the existing harness. The passenger style "composite" lights will have an extra wire but it will be the same color as another. like having two yellows for example. You can just twist them together before you splice them, and even add an extra ground if you want to be extra. Here's a previous post where it was done. 🔽
