Hello I'm a new member I own a 1997 astro passenger van with the swivel seats no engine lights 120k miles water damage in the back and from I can tell under every window the wooden trim is water damaged I will get pictures tomorrow. I really like this van and will be giving it a paint job first time I've ever painted a car. Paint is expensive and I'll be restoring this van will possible conversion to a camper van. Problem I have with the van just charged the ac it is working but having to charge it makes me wonder if there is a leak. It is only front air no rear ac. The rear hatch dutch doors is giving me trouble it only works half the time doesn't seem to get power half the time.

Welcome to the site!

100% if it ever has to be charged, there is a leak somewhere, it's common for them to leak at the compressor, it was a bad design.
