Austine I have brought this up before why are topics that have been replied too in the last couple of hrs not showing up when i click on new post button you replied before that you needed to extend the time alotment i posted a reply at 535 am and while browsing at 12 noon it was no longer in the np section whats the sense of having the NP button if its not going to be there atleast 24 hrs so people who just use that feature would be able to see all new post and replys.... :feedback:

I'm working on this chops, I really am. I've made requests at phpbb.com for someone to explain to me how the "View new posts" and "View active topics" links are supposed to work. I agree with you that it should display more new posts that it is right now.

I'll keep you updated as I search for a solution or explanation for this.

Here is some good reading material regarding View new posts

Apparently we are not the only ones that disagree with how the function should work. There is a modification that attempts to correct it. I might install this MOD.

Chops-I know this isn't a answer to your question about n/p-but from day one I have always clicked on active topics over n/p because it allows me to view both and see if I missed one from days before .

LOL-but then again, you do have MORE done on your van then I do.
