I wish we could see footage of what went on in the secondary as a play developed that turned into a sack - especially during a game in which a qb becomes drastically ineffective during an extended series of possessions. It's really hard to tell from a single perspective how much of the problem comes from the line, the qb or the receivers. It is very hard to believe that no receiver could get open enough to throw the ball his way for so many plays in a game! Scarily reminiscent of the Joe Walton eraspongebob218 said:The problem with the Steelers is trying to get the offensive line to actually show up for the game. Of course, last week they did seem to do their job, but Ben took too long to get rid of the ball. Apparently, ten seconds isn't enough time to find a receiver and throw the ball.Let alone the backup snapper that never snapped a ball before in his life.
That snap was laughable - he actually pulled the ball up off the ground & stretched his arms out towards the defense to get more leverage before launching it!
Oh well.
