i believe that this is common problem if you search you will find topics on this. there is a cuircuit board and a resistor burns up and or devlleops cold solder connections

Sounds like your blower motor resistor is bad. Or the wires connecting to it are melted or wires and resistor are bad. Here is the best pic I can find quickly on the web to point you in the right direction: http://www.autoacforum.com/forumimages/astroresis.jpg

pull out your windshield washer fluid and coolant over flow tanks, and there's a wire comming from the blower motor in the top left side to a connector in the middle of you're air tunnel, thats the resistor, look for a burnt connection, or connectivity betweent he connector and the ground, if you get no connectivity, its a blown resistor
