My '97AWD 130,000mile 4.3 is tired,, big time. It is a second vehicle and used for towing.

Looking at the swap list,, correct me if I'm wrong, I use the current PCM and just swap the chip out? I live in MD and they OBD emissions test, if they plug in and no codes you pass.

Looks like pan needs to be swapped
Motor mounts are no problem.
Headers with an AWD,, do the headers listed work?
If i buy a crate engine for it,,, how difficult would accessory mounting ect be,, or would I be better to buy a junk yard and do a rebuild?

Ok I did a lot of reading last night, If I got crate, and get the intake ( and everything attached) and distrib from a 1996 to a 2002 5.7 I should be good?

If a do a subframe drop, how high do I need to get van, I have a low profile Tranny jack, so I can remove wheels and pull it all out with the tranny jack.
