Yeah, If i hold onto this thing... It will get the new front end. But for now, my stop sign mounted cooling fans are an eyesore. I got the two bezels in good shape, but busted the grille because I wasnt aware of the bottom screws (which by the way, how do you get to?)

Tomorrow, I am going to remove that bottom peice that it screws to. Heck, maybe ill find a nice white one and buy it too!

Anyways, didnt know if you knew somewhere to check out... thats all.

And no, noone wired me a million bucks today

(what are you waiting for!?!) haha

Hi onesmartidiot

Keystone body part supplies may have it. They are a wholesale supplier for body shops.

If it's just cracked, then have you thought about using JB Weld to repair it? Great stuff. Just a thought.:)

than trying to find a grille for a first gen astro that isn't cracked in 900 spots.

Anyone know of a spot online that has some that are still in one piece with all the tabs?
I got one that I'm soon going to remove from my 94. I replaced the grill and light bezels (turn signals) about 5 years ago. It is just starting to show age, but nothing is broken, it's in good condition. I'm converting a 94 to 97 front end, so I'll have a very straight 94 hood, fenders, grill, etc. Hood clearcoat is a disaster so the time is right to change the front ends. I've talked about this for 5 years. Bought a 97 with a nice front end.
I'm in Charlotte, NC. As I recall, these parts were not particularly expensive. If you are in this area, feel to 'visit' the parts.
Does anyone know whether the inner door panels from a 97 will fit a 94 door? The 97 panels sure are a lot nicer. The wiring is quite a lot different, but that could be managed. Maybe swap out the doors?

LT4 Astro : I just got finished a couple of weeks ago on the later model door panel swap om my 89. My van had power mirrors with the master switch on the dash. (95Dash). The late door panels have the mirror switch built into the driver door panel. Getting the power windows working was not a big deal but I am still trying to figure out the power mirrors. When I got the door panels off of a 99 model, I grabbed the whole door harness from each door.It is laid out different than my 89.

Sorry all but i gotta ride this coat-tail. I too want to swap out my whole interior(minus the dash) for a 97'. I found a nice extended model and it looks that all will fit. I actually picked up the speaker housing off another one and i may try my hand at some "custom"
door panels. And yeah those grills are a pain. I too want to swap out either a 95' or 97' front end. There was a great thread on this but i can't remember who did it. Step by step. If anyone remembers please let us know. Oh and has anyone ever chopped the top on an Astro? I would love to see some pics of that. Peace All!!!!

I managed to find a decent grille with all of its tabs finally. It was a chevy grille on a gmc so i guess thats why they took off the bowtie. but i picked up all 3 peices and some orange corners to replace the ricer clear ones for 30 bucks. now onto the other 5 million things to do to the outside of this van...

Thanks for all of the input!
