I like that rear seal. Where did you get it. Congratulations on the build.
Good to see another 4x4 swap! Easy and cheap change to real offroad vehicle.

Ps tungtide seal you can get at rockauto/amazon/ebay.
National Seal 4333N (picked mine up locally)
Advance Auto - PN# 4333N

PS: I previously mistakenly posted the seal for the AWD case.
This is now the correct part for the Chevy Blazer 4x4 (NP-233C)
I see you can get a much better price online
Great, I have all the parts as well but I need to fix other stuff first.

working outside in the cold snow, slowly but surely progress being made on the 233c swap.
Has anybody reused the skid plate from the old transfer case?

Didn't reuse skid plate with mine.

You might want to consider how much smaller the 233 case is compared to the AWD case. I wound up spacing mine up quite a bit to get back correct drive-shaft angle.

Thanks for the tip, you just put spacers in with the bolts for the trans mount I think right? Ran out of sunlight so I’m gonna finish up in the morning. Install has gone well so far, needed up not needing to take the front driveshaft out, but sensing I might want it out to get the crash support brace bolt off the engine block, we’ll see.

think I’m gonna see if it’ll be possible to re use the skid plate, either under the new transfer case or maybe up under the oil pan somehow? Might have to get creative with it, we’ll see. Hate to throw it out, I just love skid plates so much lol. Will keep it updated.

Another big question I had that I haven’t seen is the possibility of a 4wd indicator light somewhere by the dash. Could I splice any wires that came in the journey kit to make this possible?
in my experience, it is good to change the input shaft seal, as it can be old and the transmision can flow into the TC.You can bet, how i found.
Use also the studs from the old TC so you do not have any isues with mounting the TC.
