Hello,

Just wondering peoples opinion on white letter tires on an Astros. I am looking at replacing the cheap china made tires with some BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A Tour tires and was wondering if I should install them with the white letters out or in? I am leaning towards out, but dont want the van to look funny. I have a white 2000 Astro AWD with the factory aluminum wheels. It has a Waldoch conversion, so it has some tan color striping on it, otherwise it is plain white.

Opinions appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes, I prefer the letters out. I guess I'm old-school that way.

Now that is a great looking van. I think the lettering really compliments the color, style and design.

My 93 came from the factory with solid whites out... They were Uniroyal Tiger Paw radials... I think they look best that way - the van has 176K on it and is bone stock... It looked good from the factory - and it still looks good now. :driving:

Hi Duck Hunter
The white lettering looks good on your van as well. It really highlights the colors you have.:)

I think it depends, because on some cars white wall will look nice and others not as nice.
but i agree with shawnrayj your the one who has to like it.
if you do get white walls, a little trick to keep them white when you wash your van is to scrub the with a S.O.S pad. works great!!
Let us know wat you decide and post some picks if you can.
