Does anyone know where I can find part numbers for headliners? I didn't see any part numbers listed on Mitchell or Alldata. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try GM
Yes, I did try GM. And as retarded as it sounds, that's why I need the part number. I want to order a new headliner but I need the part number. And they can't find the part number for the headliner, but assure me that if I give them a part number, they can order it. I don't know if its a GM thing or just something to do with the local dealership

You might try asking them to search previous years. I had this same problem finding the oil filler tube for my '90 G-Series. Fortunately the guy behind the counter was smart enough to know that the van was identical in previous years except for a few trim items. Once he started rolling back the catalog he found it under the 85 year model.

I dont know if you have alot of astros in the pick n pulls where you live but here in Iowa there loaded , i dont pay to much attention to the older style astros interior but i was scouting for rear bench seats and theres alot of astros with really nice seats and complete interiors that are in really good shape.
you might not be interested in a used one but one thing to think about is since there on the ceiling they generally dont have much wear and tear , probally would have to examine it to make sure its coming out of a non smoking vehicle , and another thing i do is spray the "Resolve" carpet stain remover on my interior parts , not to get rid of stains but kinda gives it a fresh new car smell.
just something to think about
i think in my van next spring i'm gonna pull my headliner down and spray 3M glue down and wrap it in dark charcoal gray suede.

Ya knooooow.

I had a headliner in my 80 Buick become a hat, the fabric started coming loose. I pulled it out and was able to peel the fabric off. I got crafty and did a 3D thing with 1/8" foam, but much of it was the original foam. Picked up some head line material from the auto upholstery shop and some spray glue. Even with the 3D effect it was actually easier then I thought. You just have to make sure you spray the glue on light on the fabric so it doesn't soak through, and go back over a time or two to get good coverage of the glue. and make sure theres no wet spots once it starts to get tacky. I laid the fabric out and folded one end 1/2 back over itself and glued it, then did the same on the other end.

What year and color are you looking for? They are listed in the GM parts catalog program.
1989 in burgandy for a shorty. I looked in the catalog and didn't see that one listed for an 89. Gets a little cold in the winter.

I dont see burgundy (or red) listed under 89, but 90-95 has a red headliner listed as part number 15626923. Its almost discontinued as its listed as being from Vintage Parts. 1-877-846-8243.

90-95 Shows these colors: Gray, Cognac, Red, Blue
89 Shows these colors: Gray, Cognac, ans Blue

And that's the part that makes me scratch my head. I doubt a burgandy interior is a rare thing.
