Searching RockAuto and cane up with this:

It defaulted to 2003 for these parts for my 1997 AWD

- I assume they are right? There isn’t anything under the 97.

Look up 98 should be closer, the 2003 to 2005 may be different since they upgraded to 6 lug wheels-not sure, just saying. You need the actual ball joints, not the separator tools you have listed. You can rent the tools from Autozone or another parts store.
