What is the secret to polishing Non coated Aluminummmmmmmmm wheels? A wheel shop guy told me to use corn starch after polishing to get the black off. But, corn starch in what form? Dough? or sloppy wet?

What is the trick? :confused1:

Never heard of the corn starch method...

I just polish with Mothers aluminum polish, and keep rubbing with clean rags 'till the black goes away.

I ve never heard of this meathod but you could always stop back and ask. Ive always buffed them then I take some soapy water and wash the black residue off then dry them real good then apply a good aluminum polish!
