Here's a 2003 AWD that I had. This was last February at Stevens Pass in Washington state.

Thanks sixsix!

Here's another one. This is my '05 2WD at the Bonneville Salt Flats. This was during Speed Week in August of 2021. I brought the '84 CR500 along to play after we were done racing. Lots of trails in the hills surrounding the flats. Then CR500 went to its new home in Colorado with my brother.

Another photo from Bonneville. This is in the hills right outside of the flats. A friend came out from Omaha to meet us there and he brought his bike along in his Astro. His is a '99 (I think) AWD. The bikes are an '85 IT200 and an '84 CR500.

Guy comes walking up to me in the Home Depot parking lot this week.. I knew he was probably going to ask me about my van. He REALLY liked my van A LOT... then I turned around and saw his... SUPER NICE! His is a low-mileage 2WD Florida cargo van in mint condition, and he has an AWD up northern state somewhere.

He asked a lot of questions.. we talked for a while...

Nice looking setup.
What holds the canopy down when the wind blows? It always blows in the desert.:cautious:
Did you bring the bricks for the fire ring with you?

Thanks! Yes the desert does get quite windy and I do keep the tie downs in the van for that purpose. Usually I pack it away when I go to sleep for that reason. The bricks were there when I got to the spot but I always use my SoloStove to the left because it uses so much less wood than traditional fire pits.

Looks great ether way and a good looking van. I got a nice house battery in the van and a little buddy heater with a 10lb propane tank to keep me warm.
