Good-day,

Took in my 2000 Astro AWD and found that I have a leak from the power steering hose. I took a look and figure out how I would replace this. Is this something that I can try or should I leave it for the pros.

Thanks

there's always the two sides to it. changing it is not rocket science. but you need tools and be ready to get dirty. to me now days it's a matter of how much the cost to having someone do it to how long it'll take me (which normally is 3 or 4 times longer than what i anticipated) lol.
but normally, i take care of my astro.
i will say, if i had to change a power steering hose, i would do it (since i have to change my darn leaking steering box anyway!!).
let us know how it went.

yeah, remove that nice shirt your wearing :biglaugh:
there's room under there. jack the front up and make sure you set jack stands under it. and remember you'll be dripping fluids so cover up the floor. i think the "hardest " part of the operation is taking off the serpentine belt. so that tells you the level of a job this is.
good luck.
