hello fellas! i have an 94 astro van with power locks....
a while ago i replaced the stereo for an after market set up... just a deck speakers and subs.... well i had to spice the factory wires to the after market... the factory harness was toast.. melted and broke on me... so i did it old school way... now there were two wires left alone cause i dont know what they were..... after that my locks sometimes work and sometimes not.... now if i dont drive for a week my battery is dead... and when i tyr to lock and unlock in park, they sometimes unlock, but if they dont then i hear a click under the passanger side dash!
any help would be great????? :bow:

Check to see if you have any door lock switches that are broken or don't work right. If the switch top that you press on feels loose or wiggles side to side you may want to replace, or at least disconnect them.

The other item could be the delay locking controller located in the right front kick panel, they sometimes go bad or work intermittently. You can try disconnecting it for a few days to see if that affects the battery going flat.

Sorry about this, but where is the right front...driver or passanger side.. :confused: .if its the driver side, then there is a black box that i keep hitting with my foot... :banghead: .
