Forgive me if there's something like this and I've missed it, but I'm a member of another car club (Honda Element Owner's Club), and on our forums, we have info like the basics about the Element we have and the like. It makes it super easy to, at a glance, see what someone's referring to when they mention their ride or are looking for help with a problem (we're admittedly also very good about harping on new members until they fill that stuff in). For example, here's what my avatar/sidebar info looks like on there...

I was thinking such an addition would be really neat for here, as well. On there it's set up as additional info you fill in as part of your profile.
