I have a leak in what I think is the water pump. I have done so many flushes that o think so e of the stuff that was coming out was that stop leak stuff and now she leaks crazy. I fill it with water and at a certain point it starts pouring outta the bottom just behind the radiator. She never over heats but after I get to where I'm going and turn her off water streams out from under her flowing beneath the driver door side. Now suddenly it's not really heading out that way but traveling all the way down the frame and showing up dripping from the back bumper on the driver side. I don't know what to do and this is my only vehicle and the mechanics where I live take about a month to do anything plus they're closed weekends. Wondering if I should get some of that leak stop or if how much comes out tells me it's a big leak but like I said she never overheats. Thank you in advance. I love this site! Everyone is always so helpful

The first thing is to determine where the leak comes from. May have to get underneath while it is running to see. Bring a waterproof flash light of sorts and some safety glasses. Might even have to remove the engine cover.
It is possible to have more than one leak in more than one location. Check your pump, radiator, hoses to them and heater core. If you have rear heat, check the lines that run to the core there as well. If it does not appear to be blowing out under pressure, I would start with the heater hoses and related parts. If it is actually a core, you would have to see that from where it is mounted inside.
I agree that if it was some stop leak got out, at this point putting more in is likely not going to help.
In the meantime, carry water with you if you must drive before fixed, and check at least before every trip. Keep an eye on your temperature gauge while driving. If it climbs past half, stop, cool down, check and add.

You had a coolant leak issue before no? Only advice I would offer is if your van has the monstrous fan shroud mine has, I'd remove it so you can actually see something. When I was doing ongoing work, I kept mine removed for months so I could monitor a leak repair on my PS pump. You''ll probably need to tie off the air filter assembly to keep it form hitting the fan. Point is, you need to put eyes on where the actual leak is coming from and removing the shroud will greatly improve visibility. JMO.

Yes I already had the leak. Discovered it by it overheating one day. From that point on I've just been filling it every time I drive and it's it about 5 miles at a time to from work and store but it used to just come from the front leaking out on the ground but now it seems like it goes to the back. It never did it until we got -1 degrees over Christmas but I put in antifreeze and drove it so it would get into hoses. Could a freeze plug have popped? This started so much right after the cold that I thought rain froze under the van on inside the bumper or line a leak around the back doors. It leaks normally anyways but I was assuming because we got a ton of rain then what they called a "flash freeze" but it hasn't stopped leaking there yet.

Do you have rear Air-conditioning.
If yes and you have it on in back, especially on a humid day, then that might be the water coming out of the cooler /blower area.
It might have been clogged up and now broke free through a new hole.

If you were refilling with just water, a freeze plug could have very well popped as well and possibly on top of whatever you already had going on. As for the rear it is possible it just got channeled there by leaking onto the frame, but if you have rear heat, a line could have popped possibly too.

Heh! JODI 😃
LISTEN 2 the fellas as they R VERY WISE & KNOW their stuff 👍
Bryan helped me with my vans issues about the same thing & has a WEALTH of knowledge...very helpful 👌
I had same issues with my 92' ASTRO last month in December & prior to that back in October after having a big job done on my girl in August. I had to take mine in an out of state shop TWICE as she was leaking again & I noticed it as the 2nd time I saw anti freeze fluid on the floor on my passenger side & was concerned it was coming from my heater core (those can cost you $750 & up 😲)
BUT was NOT ....another hose that needed replacing & I had a leak @ my manifold as well.
Heater Core was FINE 🙂
My girl has over 402,500 miles & has her original motor & tranny so I AM BLESSED 🙌 She hasn't required any major engine repair but I keep her up on oil changes & take darn good care of her ...been driving her 25 years as of June this year ❤
I have found this forum site 2 B extremely VALUABLE & U LEARN A GREAT DEAL 👍
I had been originally brought to this site this past August in looking for my girls front grill bowtie or "butterfly" 🦋 as "someone" had called it 😆
Bryan & sixsix helped me FIND one after years of NEVER being able too so I was THRILLED 😁
I put it on MYSELF with alittle ingenuity & patience 2 ( YEP!! WOMEN CAN DO IT 2 😆)
I was pretty proud of myself even tho it wasn't a big complicated job but considering how long she had been without one, I was tickled 2 finally B driving my girl sporting her NEW ( well almost ) " decoration 💟 😃
Most of the guys can do their own repairs, & even design & fabricate parts from wrecking yards to do it ( Bryan) They do their own & help the rest of us in troubleshooting & not have to rely on a shop so they R VERY FORNUATE!!
HOPE U R able to get your leak (s) found & FIXED ! GOOD LUCK 👍
WELCOME 2 the forum BTW 😃

If you know the water pump is leaking, fix it. Once that is fixed, flush and fill the system again and see if it's leaking anywhere else, then fix that as well. Rinse, lather, repeat until there is no more leak.

Looks like you have a conversion van, if so it could have a heater core in that rear corner. That can be bypassed, preferably up in the engine compartment if that is the case.

The water pump is not hard at all, if you can follow directions you can do it yourself. Hardest part is removing the fan clutch.

It helps if you put your year/make/model/engine/AWD/conversion/etc in your profile or signature line so we know what we are working with now and in the future. https://www.astrosafari.com/account/signature

I have not seen anyone suggest borrowing a cooling system tester from the local auto parts store (LAPS) . Most have that sort of thing available now days. If the favorite parts store does not loan tools and some basic test equipment (fuel pressure tester, fan clutch wrenches, diagnostic tools, etc.) , likely the next one down the street will.
Putting pressure tester on the radiator system and pumping it up to 12-15 lbs should make the leak source(s) VERY obvious!
Have a raincoat handy before crawling under for the inspection!o_O
