Just bought a Cheetah Remote Start System. I already have an alarm system installed that pops open the door locks. I'm gonna take that old "brain" out and substitute with this new one to add the remote start. Anybody have any input/advise/ideas before I start on this proyect? Instruction seem to be clear, but you never know... :lol:

I got a tip for you. On my 95 astro, I had a hell of a time finding the starter wire, which is a 10-12 guage purple wire from the ign switch. I finally ended up dropping the column down to se the switch itself to trace the purple wire. It turns out that it was hidden inside the yellow loom along with the airbag wires! I'd normally NEVER mess with the yellow loom for risk of triggering the airbag. I commented on here about my find and it seems several other vans were wired the same way. So if you cant find your purple starter wire, now you know where to look. GOOD LUCK!

Awesome tip Scotty Boy. I will trace that one wire tonight. My van has no air bag so I will not have that feer.
It's funny how easy they always find those wires in any giving movie :?
