They called me in the start of the cluster replacement....asking me was it ok to perceed
Because my dash was brittle....like a dumbass i said yes....

Hrm... still ... even with a brittle dash -- you can get it off in one piece... but if they warned you -- that does kind of limit your options.

I'm guessing there isn't much in the way of JYs in Honolulu...

Look like they didn't shift it into 1st and tilt the steering wheel all the way down. Ask them if they did this if they didn't they should replace it

Looks like they didn't bother to look at the correct information sheet on how to take it off with minimal or no damage

Honestly -- I'd just call them and tell them exactly what you're telling us...

"I appreciate you reaching out to warn me about the brittle dash -- but when I gave you the go ahead -- I wasn't really expecting to get the van back looking this bad...

"I was just going to order one on eBay -- but they're nearly $160 shipped -- I want to be fair to you guys -- but even with a brittle dash -- I think this damage is a more than is acceptable"...

See what they can do -- honestly -- just try and be fair with them -- I doubt the guy making the decision to refund you has even seen the dash of the van -- so see if you can talk to the shop manager or service writer -- and be nice...

You'll attract more bees with honey....

They're my favorite salvage dealer -- and I almost guarantee they can pull a good dash for you.

no not at all, it is retired prisoner transport so they already have holes drilled on the cupholder where they had a speaker mic
