LOL afraid not. You see me struggling with my van all the time fixing things. I wish it was that simple.

Another night, another Walmart parking lot! :dance:

Canton, Tx this time. Day 3 of the trip (?) and I have only gone 1,879 miles.... Pulling over every 30 minutes and lots of quality time troubleshooting the van have really slowed me down.

I like Walmart parking lots as easy places to pull in and sleep.... Actually have an app on my phone that shows all the walmarts and gives reviews of their parking lots.

This one was great until the car pulled in next to me blasting rap music... :screaming:

The sun is out and it's hot in here! Gonna get some coffee, gas, and get in the road so I can get the AC going!

Yesterday saw me pass from Texas into Louisanna... Then into Mississippi... And down through the state to Alabama. Late last night I rolled across the line into Florida.

I bought some MAF cleaner, the CRC stuff. After spraying it down throughly, letting it dry and putting it back in.... Trying to start the van with it plugged in causes the van to stumble and die almost immediately.

Now, this is a brand new unit. It is a Delphi, ordered from Rock Auto.... And it acts like it is bad.

Just to recap, I bought it because I was originally blowing the ECM 1 fuse, and unplugging my MAF caused the fuse not to blow.... Is it possible that this brand new MAF has failed, and is causing the problem I am having now? I might need to invest in an OBD scanner that gives me real time data.... I would like to know what the MAF is telling the computer.

Hell it takes two days to cross Texas.
Went to E.Tenn. last fall took just as long to get from the Tx.
state line to Ala. as it did to get out of Tx.

It has been 46 years since I have seen her, and my memory is a little fuzzy about the whole thing. Apparently I have some brothers and sisters who I will also meet.

I got my Birth Record Prior to Adoption last summer and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the info. I was adopted at birth...and am 46, so it's been 46 yrs for me, too.

At least I know her name, her home address at the time (she was 17) and what hospital.

An absolutely fantastic reunion / introduction to my birthmother! Met my sisters and my brother for the first time (still strange to type). I will take time to write more about it later.

Drove 1,000 miles in a streight shot up to CT... Spent a couple days there.

Now I am another 200 miles up the coast in MarbleHead MA.... What a beautiful town!

I still don't know, but driving with the MAF unplugged it drives fine.... Couple thousand miles now. Would like to try swap in another MAF to find out if that is it....

You shoulda stopped in MD on your way through and we could have tried 3 different MAFs
