RV type roof top vent? There is a flat section on our roofs for this. Someone installed one in their van and did a nice write up recently on the other forum that must not be named. I'd link you to it, but rule are rules.

Hmmm, you know what I'll ask permission to add it to the AstroSafari Data Repository on CarDomain.

I think I'm missing something here. We can't add a link to help a guy out if it's on another site?

We can link to other sites, but the other forum that can not be named is strictly off limits. You can't even post the initials to the other forum that can not be named.

I don't understand how this got so far off topic. The OP asked for suggestions with screen windows and/or air conditioning. How does this relate to roof vents and links to other forums? Maybe I'm missing something here (wouldn't be the first time).

As for site rules, this applies to "any" site that has a membership requirement to them (rule 6a).

People have a choice to join where they want, when they want, the issue here, is using this very successful site as a springboard to solicit our members. We don't believe in or practice this method in any way shape or form.

I hope this clears things up.:)

Roof vents are excellent for camping, most RVs have them.

I'd do both. One of those rooftop RV A/C setups would be sweet.

:)
A roof vent could be a good alternative to air conditioning or screen windows , so he was trying to give a write up on roof vents
I've found roof vents to work extremely well even in very hot weather as long as it is'nt real muggy out , if it gets muggy you'll need a air conditioner unless you want to be doing this :banghead:
