Ok the seats in my van are trashed.....drivers side is the worst.........so what seats will fit in a 1993 Astro?

As far as seats from another Astro or Safari, any year will fit.
There are some different styles depending on the trim level of the van, but they will still fit.

I was also wondering if any GM car seats have been used and if so which ones?

I saved the seats from my wrecked 93 Astro, thinking I could use them. But even though the seats in my two 94 Astros seem identical, the belt buckles are different. I realize I could switch the buckles, but I haven't needed to think about it yet.

So I have a set of 93 Astro seats, red upholstery, in Virginia. And I might never get around to using them. Probably too great a geographical challenge for you to consider, though . . . ?

The are very interchangeable. I swapped my 88's seats in to my 95 with no trouble.

A buddy of mine put seats out of a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix. They were gray, leather, power and heated. He had to chop the seat bracket to make up for the additional height of the seat. I think you can put whatever seats you want in your astro. You have plenty of room to work with in all directions.

If you know of any junk Lumina APV vans anywhere the front seats will fit. It'll take some finessing of the bolts on one side because of the slight width difference, but they'll fit on the factory seat risers just fine once they're bolted in.

Okay, so stock Astro/Safari seats are interchangeable regardless of year. But what about the various conversions? Are the captains chairs and the rear folding bed chairs from the conversions interchangeable regardless of vehicle year or conversion company? Thanks!

That is the answer I am trying to get. I have access to a set of very nice gray leather buckets out of a 2002 Tahoe that I would love to drop into my 2002 Astro, but I can't find anyone who knows how well the holes match up and I am not going to spend $400 big ones to find out. That is a lot of money to blow if the seats don't fit. I am going to mount the seats to the stock riser if I can.
