Finished painting the fender with paint that didn't match by the way; totaly noticable (Thanks Canadian Tire for expertly matching my paint). So i pulled into the garage Put in Park. Turn the Key but it wouldn't go all the way back. Moved Shift lever through all the gears and back to Park wiggled the Steer wheel, still wont go back. It goes only a little past the 2nd postition (Forget what it's called,it's like the ON pos. the Odo lights up and you can pick gears but no power to accesories). The key comes out, it has done that for a long time as it is rather worn out. Ignition still turns without key. Meanwhile i disconnected the battery and locked the doors

The Steering wheel lock pin may not be lined up with a slot. Try turning the steering wheel a bit.
