With the 2002 models, they have the "X" engine. Their maybe some confusion with the standard "W" engine when buying parts at the auto parts store. If you're certain you have the correct part No. for your year, then you need to look at other components failing for the squealing problem. Serpentine belts don't squeal unless you have something else wrong with it to cause it to do so.
