I have been using this stuff whenever I replace vacuum line for years now… it’s really great stuff. Our 7/32” line is especially vulnerable to melting….

This stuff is super high temp, and available in a variety of colors.

what’s funny is that while doing some other maintenance I remembered my “temporary” repair (made about 8 years ago)…

I had just been discharged from the hospital and was driving somewhere hot…. My air-conditioning was just coming from the defrost…. Of course I knew what I needed.

I had the tube from my IV (I can’t stand to see perfectLu good tube to get tossed)…. I realized that it wouldjust stretch to fit. I put a but if wire loom over it… and forgot about it.

Here is is, 8 years later. 😂

When you guys replace the little rigid vacuum tubes with hose, do you still use the elbow fittings (cut the tube about an inch out to slip into the hose) or just delete the fittings?
