Ladies and gents,

If you haven't taken notice yet, we've added van info fields to member profiles.

These fields can be modified in your User Control Panel.

As many ideas do, this addition came at the request of one of our own members who suggested the change in this topic: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=3687 Kudos to xequar for the idea! Keep those ideas coming...

Now when a newbie joins up and makes their first post asking for assistance with a problem with their van... we get to harp on those newbs until they fill this information out. It will be present at the registration page, so hopefully all new members will fill it out at that time.

All current members are expected to go to their User Control Panel > Profile page and put in their vans information. Go! Now! Do it! :mrgreen:

Would it be alot of work to make it so we could add additional vehicles to the Van Info section of our profile? :techie-typing: :teasing-whipyellow:

Chances are that they wouldn't be a newbie to car related forums and they would already know the drill.

I suppose we could add a second set of custom fields for those with a 2nd astro/safari. But... what if someone has more than two astro/safari's?
I suggest we leave it as-is and if you want you can list all your vans in your signature.

I would like to see more people list their Van in the sigs....it helps you remember a member when they have a distinct sig you recognize.

I don't see what bouncing boobs have to do with A/S vans...there is a section for that. And it's not real pleasant, either in the workplace or at home with the stepdaughter looking over my shoulder.

Agreed to a point. If that is the least/most offensive thing people see in their day to day lives they are living it with their eyes closed. In my world it is called human interaction. I mean come on, if we are going to regulate, then we need to carry it through to the end. Just my 1.5 cents worth. Jim

No problem, I just find it interesting anytime an idea is suggested that has already been taken care of.
