I've tried everything trying to figure out why my internet connection is slow but nothing works , 2 different service providers , 3 different computers , different browsers , cleaned my cache , defragmented my drive , on my desktop i reinstalled my operating system , cant remember what else i've tried
Technology in general seems to be a waste of time , it seems almost everything i have thats technology related has some kind of problem , i guess i expect everything to be plug n play

Is it slow with everything you do on your computer? Or is it just when you're out on the internet ?
I upgraded mine to 4gb RAM. It works faster and I can have multiple things going at the same time without slowing down. I think the Processor MHz affect much on speed as well.

This is my speed, but I have serious problems to open AstroSafari.com. it is very slow.
But Austin is working with it. :thumbup:

Just my internet is slow , wether i use internet explorer or firefox , sometimes it locks up and i have to click my task bar to make it snap out of it . sometimes it will work a little faster for awhile but alot of times it takes 50 seconds for the webpage to load

Have you checked the network card? And cables? Before I had a 10 Mbps Netgear hub to connect 4 computers to a 100/10 Mbps internet connection, that was slow. So I change to a 1000/100 hub and that made a big difference.

seems to be working now .
found out that i did'nt have no virus protection .
i installed free spyware blaster .
installed free threat fire.
did a scan but it did'nt find anything .
installed AVG free antivirus .
rebooted.
all seems to be well.

Yeah very difficult to open astrosafaridotcom.....

Maybe the problem is the water between USA and our countrys munken????

Maybe we could go the other way, by Russia to Alaska and then down to AS.com?? There is not much water there, but maybe it's so cold that the megabites freezes in the cable

My internet is spotty, seems like it depends on times of the day when its faster or slower. Stupid DSL crap.......sometime youtube won't load a video fast enough other times it does it really fast. :banghead:

A/S seems to be the only site that goes VERY slow for me. I have cable internet at the office and FIOS at the house. They both give me roughly 10-12 Mbs up and 16 down so most sites move relatively quick.
