Why lift spindles?
They only lift 2" you can achieve the same result with a set of lift blocks.

Does anyone know if the two wheel drive S-10 liftspindles will work on two wheel drive Astros?

Spindles are about 5 times more expensive.
You do have a good point though, however the ground clearance is still limited by the rear axle.
