Hello fellows.
As the title says I have a flip kit and tired fiberglass springs under my 87 shortie.
Wondering if steel springs will fit without building back to stock?
Also I do miss the front extension plates (never came with the kit) which lift the springs up.
Any one have any measurement for fabricating new ones?
In the picture it looks OK but I ripped the seats out to make it lighter in the rear.
Greetings Kenneth M.

Never used a lowering kit, but I do know there is a big difference between the glass and the steel springs, the steel springs use a totally different front set up. The fiberglass springs are wider and thicker than the steel leafs also.

not knowing what your flip looks like, i have zero clue if you can keep the flip with these, but here's the steel replacement springs, plus a "kit" that you may or may not need.

Since I've never heard of it, please allow me to ask; What is a flip-kit?
