Temprature gauge wire to the standerd sender?

Any idea if i can wire an aftermarket temp sensor to the standerd sender in the passenger side head, just realise the head i bought doesnt have an allen bolt in it like the old one :banghead:

Yes. As long as the aftermarket temp sensor is electrical and not mechanical.
