So, many of us have other projects going on besides the vans, mine is my 95 Jeep YJ. Finally got around to doing the lift I've had planned for quite awhile so figured I'd show a little from the build. It is a spring over conversion on the front netting about 5 1/2" with a spring under 4 1/2" lift in the rear with an additional 1 1/4" lift shackles. Also added a JB4x4 crossover steering setup to get rid of any bump steer and finished it off with a new set of 33's.

here's some pics.......

Making the front perches.

destruction.

getting the old bushings out.

hanging the springs.

Removing the stock pitman.

Finished hanging the front axle.

rear shocks done, moved the mounts so they don't hang below the axle and used a relocation bracket up top to keep the stroke the same. Then I just happened to find a set of Monroes at the shop that fit the length I needed.

Finished up the front shocks and brake lines.

A few pics of the crossover steering setup.....

And here's the before and after........
before.....

After the lift.....

And with the 33's.....

Thanks, the 4.3L is for the Astro. When I was hauling the Jeep the oil pressure guage started twitching, then dropping. It hit about 5psi and then came back but then it's been knocking ever since and the oil press. still twitches sometimes, sounds coming from the pan towards the rear. However the Jeep will be getting a 4.3L eventually, I like the combo of power vs. weight better than a V8.
