I just clean my car today. But it annoys me the fact that my windows (side) will always have these spots when you take a closer look.
But anyway i'm just wondering what cleaning and/or waxing products do you guys use?

You have to excersize extreme caution when using this miracle preparation, but I think you will like the results. And, I must warn you: if the wife is at home, you'll have to sneek it out of the kitchen.

Easy-Off oven cleaner. (even better than straight ammonia)

Don't get it on your hands or the paint! Apply to the glass, wait for a few minutes, then wipe off with newspaper. Don't get it on your hands or the paint! Apply lots of water.

We use it here at the shore to get aluminum oxide off the windows that builds up when combined with salt air. You can't even razor blade the glass clean, but Easy-off does the trick every time. You won't believe how clean glass can be.

Bon Ami cleanser works really good too. Pat Goss was talking about the professional strength GM windshield cleaner that's available from the dealer. He said it's the exact same stuff if you don't want to pay extra.

I wash my van with a drywall bucket filled with water, add a few squirts of liq dishwashing liq, and a big squirt of
liquid tiki torch fluid. That torch fluid is kerosene plus some citronella for bug repellant. The kerosene is a tip
I learned from some old hot rod guys. It loosens the grease/grime on the car, then leaves a tiny film of
petrol on car when you rinse it all off. Any new dirt that falls on the car falls on that layer of kerosene,
which gets dissolved off the next time you wash it. The citronella in the torch fluid helps to keep
bugs away from the van when I'm camped in the desert. I guess my camo paint job is so good,
the bugs think I'm a big bush.

I scrub the van all over with a long handled truck wash brush, then rinse it all off with the hose.
Then hurl the remaining half bucket or so of water/soap/kerosene mix onto the van and rinse
that off. Windows don't spot as much when the kerosene is in the mix. Bird poop and road
goo come off very well. Summertime we have a lot of road goo in Phoenix. The extremely high
temps melt the asphalt which then sprays up onto your car.

Those same old hot rod guys also used to follow it up with a dump of a bucket of
water with a half cup of Simonize car wax. I don't do that because of my matte finish
paint job. But I've done that on more normal finished cars. Works great. Like
liq spray-on wax at the coin op.

To wash, various soaps, usually Meguiars. For TOUGH washes, Dawn to strip everything. For protection, numerous waxes and sealants. Makes bugs and stuff sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide off.

For stubborn tar, a good OTC product is Goo Gone. But I generally use 3M adhesive remover

As long as we're sharing wash and wax tips:

(This ain't no s___t.)

I can't remember the last time (honestly) that I put soap and water to my work truck. It's been that long. Well, it did rain today...I guess that will have to do. Rolling on floor, in pain, laughing out loudly.
