i have no diagram but do know the solution. there are 4 bolts that hold the pieces together. they have come loose with vibration over the years. luckily its a cheap fix, tighten them. on the not lucky side they are the last 4 bolts in the assembly. everything needs to come out to get to them. just keep taking things apart until you get to bolts with aprox 5/16s head and pull them out one at a time. they are 6 inches long or so. cant miss them. tighten and reinstall everything. then your good to go. some have mentioned that lock-tite will help in them not backing out again but i am uneasy about this. i service parts a lot more in the off road world and would hate to have one break off inside. either way let me know what you come up with. hope this helps

That's a big 10-4 on the lock tight. I did one of these a long time ago without lock tight and it sucked when I had to redo it. If I get some time, I'll R&R one of these for you.

thats it for specialty. maybe a screw driver and a pick to get the column lock out. and the socket for the bolt in the center that holds the lock ring on. after the wheel is off its very basic.

The last one of these that did it to me was an 80 Buick. Not sure if the design is that same, but it there is a kind of snap ring around the shaft, make sure you clean it out. Chase it with a hack saw blade or something. This is to make sure the ring properly seats and doesn't pop off next week. BTDT

I'm not completely sure, but I think you should be able to rent the tools you need at Autozone for free. You just pay a deposit and get it back when you return the tool.
