how do you tell the differance between a 4l60E a 4L65E and a 4L70E ?
I'm trying to find out what transmission is in my 1996 G10 full size van.

It's a 4L60E. It will have a 1 piece case/bellhousing.

65's and 70's have a removable bellhousing with a crappy pump seal design(that makes me lots of $$!). They started appearing around '98 or '99.
