So I went to replace my alternator, pulled off the dogbox, and this greeted me. Now I don't know what it is,but I do know it ought not be like that.

If anyone needs any clarification, i'm talking about the hose with the giant hole in it that looks like it goes from the cylinder head to the throttle body(i think)

PCV vent hose? Not sure but I've seen it on mine.
I reckon you can just get some rubber hose same the same inner diameter to replace it.
Just found a video, although it's for a 2001, I'd say it is the PCV line.
