Hi zombie{[six]}
1-Ton Dually for $1600? Hmm, what can I say about this. Z6, just a suggestion here, but maybe try for something more main stream with parts that are going to be cheap and available from the auto wreckers or parts stores. Duallies, If I'm not mistaken have floating rear axles with very "unique" parts that are hard to find (even brake drums) and the expense to even do a rear brake job will almost be the cost of what you pay for it.

Front brakes and rotors are a different beast as well from standard GM parts and more expensive. I think "economy" like a reliable Toyota or something is what I would be shooting for when I'm going to school Z6, I think that dually will sink you faster than the Titanic in Fuel alone. Either way, the decision will be yours, your paying the bills Z6 not your friends. Just a thought for what it's worth. :)

I can always dream :)
Ill probably get a mini truck if it sells.
I HIGHLY doubt it will. Probably going to end up being stuck with this never ending love/hate relationship for a couple years. Its ok though...I enjoy the abuse

LOL, Yeh I know their like leaches, don't want to let go and sure know when you have money in your pockets, hehe. Definitely a relationship of some kind, just can't figure out what mine is at the moment. Always needs work in the winter, but runs like clock work for the rest of the year.

Actually,I know I would miss mine if I sold it. I would like to be the one to bury it when it comes time. :)

Dreaming never hurts anyone Z6.:)

Hey Z6
Have you seen this One fro sale? It has a blown motor for $500.00 bucks.
viewtopic.php?f=68&t=1971&p=11867&sid=d2412daf4033663409a829a6403a375b#p11867

I know you like working on things, if you can pick it up for that price, put an engine into it, you would be ahead of the game.
Just a heads up. :)

PS: If you decide to do the lift, I really would like to see pictures of it if at all possible. Thanks.:)
