I checked the gas cap this morn'n when I left for work, sure enough it was loose. It ran fine to and home from work.

Thanx again Rev.

at least "that guy" isnt the kind that lets the gas cap dangle from the wire and drive around with the gas door open and the cap banging the side of the van

I hate those gas door open cap danglers, especially if it's on the drivers side.

At least "that guy" isnt the kind that forgets the pump handle is still in his car and drives away ripping the handle and hose off of the pump.

 I went to fill up a couple a days ago and there was no gas cap on there at all , my first thought was that someone was stealing my gas and took the cap wth them , then went inside my van to get my old gas cap that does'nt lock and ended up finding both of them !
I must have taken it off when i was playing with my fuel lines installing a inline guage and forgot to put it back on :banghead:

This is sad, 7 posts by "that guy"

Someone stealing my gas did cross my mind until I checked the gas gauge against the trip meter. If they did, it couldn't have been more then a gal or two.

I know the locking gas caps are really easy to pick but i put it on anyways hoping they would'nt be smart enough and go somewhere else !
I'm more worried about kids or some one that gets mad at me putting something in my tank then i am someone stealing my gas.

My gas caps on my Vans don't have the plastic rope that holds them to the fill tube. So, needless to say I'm the guy crawling under my Van to get the gas cap. I always hang it in the hanger on the fuel door, but somehow its always falling on me.
