My airbag light was on so I took it in for an inspection and they showed me that the airbag module was toast due to water damage. It will need to be replaced along with the connector but it doesn't look like those parts will be easy to find. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to look for these parts?

Well dang! that sounds scary haha. Ive gotten two units from the junk yard but my mechanic said it would cost $450 for him to try to put it in even if it doesnt work. now im nervous the ones I got wont work.

I have a 2002 RWD cargo van. Im not having a lot of luck finding a module.

Some people post that they are parting parts from a old van. They might have one to sell.
Find out from dealer or a body repair shop to were they purchase replacement air bags.
They might offer to sell you one through their connections.

Pick and pull is your best shot. Try row52.com to find Astro/safari around you. The module it’s located under the drivers seat as you already know since you determined the reason of the damage. Just make sure you have your old part on hand or pictures to confirm the part is the same. I had to go back because first time I picked it blindly and plug was different.
