I layed OSB board down first (its that stuff like plywood! ) This gave me something to mount the carpet down to
Then i buy my carpet from menards because they have rolls of 12 feet wide and i just have them cut me off about 6.5 feet
I think its alot cheaper then buying the real automotive carpet and you really dont need it molded because vans are fairly flat
OH yeah , i think they sale 2 different types of carpet the stuff with foam on the back is what i buy because its more flexible if you buy the carpet without foam on the back its kinda stiff and wont work good on the non flat surfices
Up front i dont have the OSB down so i had to spray carpet glue to hold it down and in the rear the carpet is held down with .5" long staples
It turned out really good , i'll try to post some pictures

here's a picture of my EXPRESS vans carpet i just did , looks alot better in person!

Its a little ghetto, but I cut a piece of carpet for between the rear bench and my front buckets. I just layed it over the stock carpet and bolted my middle bucket(left one out) back in over the carpet. No bad for like $10.......

Thats kinda what I had in mind... only just being lazy and buying enough to cover the whole van, cutting out where the seats need bolting down, and around the trim. I just love Macgyverizing stuff - at least to get by.
