which ones would you recommend for 98 safari?
thanks.
thanks.
Got it, i was looking at the bilstein and kyb ones. Kinda expensive at 70-90 range a pop. A while ago, ive came across a post on CL, this guy was selling moog and kyb parts to upgrade the whole front end and kyb's front and back for 350.The general consensus is that for the money, it is hard to beat the KYB's.
On your 1998, you do not have struts, just plain shock absorbers, front and rear. The front shocks are different for 2WD and AWD. I think the rears are the same for both flavors.

just found out about KYB's and put the gas-a-just on my fronts after my ACDelco (the cheap blue model) crapped out after just a few months, and it's a pretty good ride! Stiffer than stock, but not too stiff, still drives like a car instead of a truck...which I prefer. I got ACDelco on the rear but that's only because I didn't know about the KYB's at the time. The general consensus is that for the money, it is hard to beat the KYB's.
