My rear was going out so I put in one from a wrecking yard (96 model with 3:23 gears), whom claimed it was a good rear. I have/had the fiberglass springs on the van (my 95, with 3:42 gears)) and didn't like them, as I carry a heavy load everyday. I opted to put steel springs on when I swapped axles. I got it all put together and now have a horrible vibration between 45-60 MPH. I found another axle from an individual out of an 00 and just wanted to have a backup plan. I am getting ready to install front and rear u joints in a few minutes actually. I'll throw some cheap parts at it before looking into this other axle.
