96 safari. I had been having troubles with the power window button, for quite some time. Installed new window motor too. that worked for awhile. Still need new button controller i think. After lopping that off, the passenger window wont work either, must be in series. Kept it like that all summer.. didnt drive it much. So, i hooked the wires back up the other day, and hmmm, burning smell. I unhooked them, and now the wipers, radio, and fan are not working. cannot find bad fuse, must be a relay huh? amyone know which one off hand?

Most likely burnt the fusible link, behind the bulkhead connector at the battery. I'd start looking there. Before you replace the fusible link, I think I'd find the short that caused the link to fry. Quite likely it is in the rubber gaitor that carries the wires to and from the doors. A common problem with Astro/Safari. Hope that helps you out!
