Finally got around to grabbing my parts van and getting the 04 together. I used the front end off my 99 safari cargo. Still need to swap the hood but that'll be after it's painted Tuesday. Plates tomorrow morning and it'll be on the road again. The passenger to cargo front end swap is bolt on. Had to change headlight wiring but thats a simple pigtail replacement. Other than that, no modications at all to it.

So far I've done valve cover gaskets. Alternator. Waterpump. Ac compressor. Radiator and hoses. Trans resealed. Rear main seal on engine. Distributor cap/rotor. Plugs wires. Etc. All the Basic tuneup stuff. And the front end damage from it being wrecked. It's coming together slowly but surely. I'll worry about the small stuff as I get to it. Got nothing but time lol.

I've been LUCKY & BLESSED 2 have PROUDLY OWNED & "still driving" My 92' ASTRO ❤ going on 402,500 " original miles " since June 98 (140,000)
ABSOLUTELY 💯 LOVE drivin her & she purrs like a kitten 😸 ( meow) & kicks A** out on the highway reaching 80 if I don't watch it cus she FEELS that " GOOD!"
Only found this incredible site last summer in searching for her front grill bowtie & couple of the fellas HELPED me fine one 😃
I actually used a dremmel tool to install it as the pins it came with wouldn't fit in the new grill without "modifying" the grill using the tool BUT she's on there 2 STAY 👍
ONLY WISH I would have even " known" about this site over all the almost 25 years I have owned my PRECIOUS & TRUSTWORTHY "RUTHIE "
I have LEARNED such "incredible & valuable" information its really UNBELIEVABLE 😁
