Is there a difference between a 89 axle/rearend and a 98 axle/rearend. I broke something in my 98 rear yesterday. I was thinking of using my parts 89 rear, just so I can drive it, but no racing or burnouts.
I have a 99 LS1 V8 in the 98, thinking I may go to a Ford 9 inch. It would be nice to drive it and be able to move it until I have decided and got the parts together.
