04 rearend rebuild

Hey guy's!
1st post and it's about rebuilding my rear in my 04, 2wd cargo !

This is a 7.5" correct?
I'm going to get new gears (3.73's) and a install kit from DTS and do it at my buddy's shop.
I can't take the howling any more!
Any tips/hints would be great.

Oh yeah, It's a 6 lug if that makes a difference.

A differential is a device employing gears capable of transmitting torque and rotation through shafts. Essentially the differential allows each of the driving wheels to rotate at different speeds in the rear axle.
