Hello ,just replace slip yoke and seal in the trans , I have to open the rear end , I have read a lot about g80 limited slip ecc... , what about that? Wich difference from mine ? Thanks
Yep buddy! But when I have replace slip yoke and seal ... i have see a lot of movement/loose in the rear end , that's why I want to get out the rear end and put on a limited slip, is it easy replace with a limited slip? Thank you
If its loose, the bearings on the pinion are shot. Then you have to rebuild the whole diff. Installing a traction device back there isn't going to make it not loose.
It depends on what your definition of "easy" is. For you, it almost certainly wont be easy and its going to require a lot of tools you probably don't have. But this thread will help you decide if you want to tackle it.
