So is the AWD hub assembly an all in one deal or can I just replace the bearings? When I search for rear hub assembly for a 2003 all I get is hits for the front assembly. Can anyone help me out with a link? I have a bad scraping sound coming from the right rear wheel. I'm thinking bearings gone bad.

I don't have a link but. Take it apart and look first. Is it rusty? is the backing plate hitting because of rust? I have run into this quite a few times.

Fronts are an all-in-one assembly. Rears are the same as RWD, just bearings and seals.

Great thanks, that makes sense. Relieved not $300+ for the rear. I shall take it apart and have a look. And hopefully clear up the issue.
