Let's see those wrecked Astros and Safaris!

Postby 99SLEG80AWD [OP] » March 26th 2017, 1:28pm

On this forum I'm on (Tacoma World), there is a thread where owners post pictures of their damaged trucks and share the stories of how the accidents occurred. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/lets-see-those-wrecked-tacos.228125/

Does anybody have pictures of their vans after an accident and/or have a good story?

My van is part of the family so to see these vans in any form of being in an accident is not a good thing. I mean go ahead and post what you wish but I for one am not into seeing one banged up.

A little Duct tape and your good DRZ.

Wow is that the one that was made into the Astro / El Camino ?
If so impressive.
If that damage was from a wreck you sure made lemonade from those lemons.

Isn't that like walking up to a strip club, knowing what is inside, and then choosing to go inside even though you don't want to see it?

So he must have only had liability insurance on it and you got a clear title?

I'm guessing the insurance company totaled it because the cost of a whole new door was more than the resale value of the van?

Yes and that isn't nothing. First time they totaled it when I owned it. Was a Scratch in the sliding door and 2 trim pieces. Any paint work what so ever is over 2 grand, more than a dinosaur is worth.
