Leaky top gasket

Ok, so I'm finally tired of pouring water out of the dutch hatch and would like to either replace, fix, or do something too keep it from filling full of water. Here's the gasket in question and conveniently enough it was leaking as I opened it to take the pic. It's not the one that goes around the door but the one across the top. It's dripping into the top hatch of the dutch door. It's got some rust brewing and I'd hate to let this eat it up instead of fixing it.





How does this come off? I'd pondered maybe removing it and sealing it with silicon or some type of sealant then putting it back on. Maybe it just needs removed and cleaned?

Hi...hey you see on your pic top left by the drip a hex screw or clip...and under its your seal...clean reaal good with a painters scraping knife and build it up from center to the edges center been highest(more silicone) and also on the top part that its like a rail(like if you cls the dr right along the top edge)...just go to HomeDpt and buy window silicone it doesnt have to be for automotive(more $$$)...make sure it drys nice bef cls drs...hahaha

Well, on the top pic there's what appear to be rivets or something holding it on... Maybe they're accessible from inside the van?
